Maxim Likhachev, a Moscow native, discovered his passion for music early, focusing on wind instruments and ultimately falling in love with the trombone. Despite classical training, his path shifted when he joined a rock band, inspired by American group Chicago. Graduating from the Moscow Music Institute, he delved into Russia’s rock scene, gaining acclaim in festivals across Europe. Joining Leonid & Friends fulfilled his dreams of playing beloved music with esteemed musicians. Renowned for his “Magic Trombone,” Maxim remains a vital asset to the band, continuing to captivate audiences with his musical prowess.
