Schmelzer Trombones artist Marcelo Véliz will represent the brand at the Asociación de Trombonistas Españoles – XVI Meeting, taking place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Oviedo.
On this occasion, Véliz will participate on behalf of his friend and founder of the brand, Manfred Schmelzer, who will not be able to attend the event in person. During the meeting, he will be exhibiting the full line of Schmelzer trombones, including Models Nr 1, Nr 2 and Nr 5, handcrafted in Germany and internationally acclaimed for their exceptional sound quality, technical precision, and outstanding craftsmanship.
The XVI ATE Meeting is one of the most important events for the trombone community in Spain, bringing together performers, students, educators, and instrument makers. It will be a unique opportunity for attendees to test Schmelzer trombones and experience their distinctive sound and meticulous construction.
